News and Newsroom Diversity

We help newsrooms and citizens use emerging technologies to better cover and engage their entire community.

We see news and newsroom diversity as a bridge crossing over society's fault lines: race, gender, generation, class, geography and ideology. Through its training programs, including those in the High School Journalism Initiative, the foundation aims to expand the number of multicultural students in the employment pipeline.

• University of Montana: ReznetNews.org, a multimedia Native news site that trains Native American journalism students and helps them get internships and jobs. www.reznetnews.org
